Eric Mélac est maître de conférences en linguistique anglaise et agrégé d'anglais. Ses domaines de recherche sont principalement l'évidentialité, la modalité, l'interface lexique-grammaire, les théories du changement linguistique, la typologie, la linguistique de corpus, et la linguistique tibétaine. 

Eric Mélac is an associate professor in linguistics. His areas of expertise are evidentiality, modality, the lexicon-grammar interface, the theories of language change, typology, corpus linguistics and Tibetan linguistics.
